Cows and buffaloes are getting Identification like Aadhar in Madhya Pradesh
Indore: Around 2.4 lakhs cattle(cows) out of 90 lakhs are in Madhya Pradesh, has been getting some identification like Aadhar card.this identification is similar to Aadhar because humans, who get Aaadhar card also have 12 digit Aadhar number and in regard to that case cows and buffalos had also get 12 digit identification code which is representing them.And these verified cows and buffaloes are also countable or in the eyes of official authorities.
OFFICIALS STATEMENT ABOUT THE PLAN…
This unique identification will help to increase milk production and safety of the cattle. This initiative is really great and totally worthful for those animals who are the only ones providing milk. This unique identification tag is stamped on cow’s ears and this scheme is a part of “National Dairy Development Board(NDDB)”.
Officials also added that this tagging system or UID to create a nationwide recording mode which helped to gather informative data related to their health.
Madhya Pradesh animal husbandry joint director and INAPH nodal officer Gulab Singhdavar said “we have started tagging the bulls on a large scale in this month. In the beginning, 40 lakhs tags have been distributed and 2.5 lakhs cows were tagged.
The tag creates information in concern with animal birth, beard and other things and this information will be upload on INAPH’s information technology application.So, if anybody wants the information about cows and buffalos he would go through INAPH, for easy searches.
For this tagging system, official authorities are keeping an eye on the productivity of cows and buffalos along with the mill production too.One of the major things is that they can develop more beard through this particular initiative. This system of official tagging on the cattle will also increase the income of cow owners, in the city, Madhya Pradesh, India.
FACTS ABOUT UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM IN MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA…
- 3600 employes of the animal husbandry department have experienced this initiative.
- 1085 cattle tagging has been done in Malva region.
- 90 lakhs cattle more will go through this UID system.
- This is the first city ever in India which has started this programme.
- The project will change the destiny of cattle.
So, this project is really contributing to our society and a step ahead for the security of animals.
