Dhadak Movie Review, Jahnavi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar

  • Tragic romantic film touching  the hearts
  • online downloading increases quickly
  • occupies 30-35%, box office India

The tragic romantic film, ‘Dhadak’ released today on July 20. It is a musical romantic film and was waiting for the romantic film lovers.

Shashank Khaitan direction worked quite enough to impress the audience. On the other hand, the young and fresh actors have done very well at their stating stage in the Bollywood. They both have supported each other in the film.

The cute love story of a high cast girl and a lower cast boy have impressed the audiences but it has to struggle because of ‘Sairat’. ‘Sairat’ is a Marathi based film. Dhadak is a Hindi remake of ‘Sairat’.

Movie Review: Dhadak

Dhadak Movie Review, Jahnavi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar

Karan Johar production house has introduced two new faces to the Bollywood- Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar. For Ishaan Khattar, ‘Beyond the clouds’ was the first movie but for Jahnavi Kapoor, ‘Dhadaak’ was the first project to work on.

The film is the Hindi remake of ‘Sairat’ directed and produced by Nagraj Manjule. The film ‘Sairat’ belongs to one of the hit movies of south India.

it is story up grounded from Udaipur, Rajasthan. The film is a story of a high cast girl Parthavi, played by Jahnavi Kapoor, and Madhukar, played by Ishan Khattar. Both of them are students and studying in the same class. Where Parthavi belongs to politically strong and a higher cast famil, but on the same side Madhukar’s family is not rich either his father is a restaurant owner in Udaipur.

The film is a direct piece by Shashank Khaitan, that is why you will feel as watching ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’ and ‘Badrinath ki Dulhaniya’.

Talking about the audience reviews, they have got the chemistry of the couple at the okay level. The main reason behind this might be the imperfect timing of their romantic scenes. The audiences are not satisfied with the love chemistry shown in the movie.

Audiences have got missing the cast difference as shown in Marathi film, ‘Sairat’. The film gets travelled from Udaipur to Mumbai and then Calcutta. The couple ran from the house, Parthavi and Ishaan, to escape from Parthavi’s after anger.

Talking about the performances, then as the trailer showed Madhukar as a spontaneous and simple boy, actually in the film he has done very well. But on Jahnavi Kapoor’s side, it was very hard to play, as she has done. She was pressured, not for 1 or 2 but there are a  lot of reasons for her work to be embraced.

Jahanvi Kapoor is the child of Iconic diva Shridevi, who was the mater of acting, expressions, dancing and in all the field of Bollywood, she was the legend. This makes her daughter be the best at her first debut even.

Along with this, she was to fit as ‘Aarchi, the lead role in ‘Sairat’. Not only this but as it was the Karan Johar’s Production along with her first debut. These main reasons are there which might force her to do the best at her side.

Jahanvi Kapoor has stepped ahead and proved herself. Even in the love scenes, she might not perfect but in the whole film, she did very well.

Along with the lead roles, other supporting actors also has done a great job. Madhu’s friends, Shridahr and Ankit have done the best support for him.  Talking about Aashutosh Rana, then his actions and efforts do not need to be described. His effortless perfect acting will obviously feel your goosebumps.  Even then you will continue to embrace his presence in the film.

The film has done a lot of branding. At many stages, you will find different Ads and promotions.

‘Dhadak’ will get 2.5 ∗ rating from my side.
