The politician passed away in the evening at 6:10 pm, Tuesday. The Cauvery hospital assured his death along with a death certificate. Due to the miserable fate of the state, it is going to state announced a holiday in the memory of late Muthivel Karunanidhi. There will be a sorrow colour filled in the atmosphere of the state for the next 7 days.
Due to this painful news, Tamilnadu is turned into a mournful house. Late politician, M. Karunanidhi was the only one leader who has served as a Cheif Minister of the state for5 terms and twenty years. He never lost in any elections, rather than that he was the president of Dravida Munnetra Kagzham for 10 years.
With the extreme sorrow, hereby is informed that the beloved leader, Muthuvel Karunanidhi is no more live. At a side where M. Karunanidhi was a writer at the same place, he was serving as the social activist in the form of a politician.
While he has served as a politician he also contributed to the literature as well. Therefore, he has also been awarded ‘Raja Rajan Award’ for ‘Thenpadi Singam’ book.
FIGHT FOR MARINA BEACH
According to the updates, there is a fight for the funeral ceremony of the politician. The DMK( Dravida Munnetra Kagzham) Party demanded a place at the Marina Beach site. But due to some reasons, the authority is not permitting them to do this. Giving the citation of law, the authority is likely to provide them with a place nearby ‘Gandhi Mandapam’. Along with this, both sides, DMK and the ruling government of Tamilnadu, are in the state of verbal stretch trick.
DMK is a party which is ruled by late M. Karunanidhi for 50 years, so they are worried about their leader’s funeral. The main reason behind demanding Marina Beach is that, each and every legend leaders and celebs have their funeral there.
But due to the running case of environmental degradation of the beachside is making hurdles in the way between. A statement is said by the Congress leader, Gulam Nabi Azad is, “the government should respect the wishes of DMK supporters. Further, he added that the Tamilnadu government should not go for politics, here at this time. because he was one of the senior and experienced leader of the country”.
Not only this but M.K. Stalin, the working president of Tamilnadu state has asked PMO for his interference in this issue.
