The Supreme Court of India is likely to pronounce the verdict on Aadhaar validation. The verdict would be on tomorrow, September 26.
A bench of five judges led by Chief Justice of India, Deepak Mishra will pronounce the verdict. A bench of five-justice that includes,
- Justice Ajay Kumar Sikri,
- second Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilker,
- Justice Dhananjay Yashwant Chandrachud, and
- Justice Ashok Bhushan
the bench is been lead by the Chief Justice of India, Deepak Mishra. The verdict consists of judgment on Aaadhaar scheme. Whether the scheme is against of fundamental right to privacy as it contains the private information of personal body and prints.
AADHAR SCHEME CHALLENGES
The Aadhaar card scheme is facing challenges after 2012. In the year 2012, there was a plea challenging the constitutional validity of Aadhaar card. It was the time when a bunch of 9 judges headed by the Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar transformed the issue to the five bench judges.
According to facts, Justice Dhanjajaya Yashwant Chandrachud is the only judge t be the link between the two benches. He was there in the bench of nine Judges which pronounced on the right to privacy.
According to the Unique Identity Authority of India, UIDAI has covered almost the 99% of the Indian population along with its unique identity. According to the authorities, each and every single private information of the Aahaar Card user is safely secured. There is no matter of leaking any of this Aadhaar information.
