The Facebook-owned company, Whats app has fixed a bug on Wednesday. The bug lets the hackers hijack user account when they answer to a video call.
The announcement is confirmed by the technology website, ZDnet. The tweet that confirms for the same, and states that “Whatsapp fixed a bug that let hackers take over app when answering a video call”.

Even though the issue has been sorted out, but this adds one more t the list of Facebook security sufferings. Following the email of Jan Kaum, the Whatsapp spokesperson states about the issue. The email shows the genuine concern of the company for the security of their millions of users.

He wrote, “we routinely engage with security researchers Whatsapp remains safe and reliable. We promptly issued a fix to the latest version of WhatsApp to resolve this issue”.

The Facebook-owned company, Whatsapp is the great media of social networking and has its net across the whole world. The recent updates state that around 1.2 billion people are there sharing via Whatsapp. Hence, a high security is needed to feel the users safe when using it. Facebook had owned the Whatsapp in the year of 2014 at a cost of $19 billion.
